Position Overview: The Label + Studio Intern will be supporting daily operations and administration while contributing ideas and assisting the Marketing team in social media, website updates, live show promotion, public relations, and more. For college credit or paid position.
Time Commitment: 8-12 hours a week

We’ve been responsible for the production and mixing of MGMT's debut EP Time to Pretend, creating the sound identity of Spotify, MTV, and NBCUniversal, the original music, sound design and mix in ads for major brands like Apple, Google, Hershey's, and Pepsi, the original score for AAA video games Just Cause 3 and 4, the Cinema Eye nominated score and sound design for official SXSW Film Festival selection Mateo, and many more.
YouTooCanWoo houses artists like French Horn Rebellion, Deidre & The Dark and Violet Sands that have toured the world, with performances on 5 continents, and host the regularly occurring party, “YouTooCanWoo Night Out” in NYC, London, LA, Chicago and more.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Support daily label operations, including marketing tasks for new releases
Work with Marketing and Social Media directors to strategize new content through organic and paid promotions, SEO, live show promotions, and more
Create social media content, edit photos, create flyers, promo videos and other visual elements
Track weekly stats and analytics relating to artists’ social media platforms and perform research as directed
Provide administrative support in the office and studio including organizing incoming and outgoing correspondence, updating documents, making sure supplies are in stock, etc.
Assist at live shows and events
Run errands and perform other tasks as requested
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Photoshop
Experience in marketing, social media, public relations, or communications preferred
Experience or interest in the music industry preferred
